Compact boards are decorative high-pressure structural laminates (according to EN 438-4) that consist of multiple core layers and decorative resin-impregnated paper. Available in thicknesses from 1 mm to 40 mm, compact boards provide remarkable structural stability.

They are suitable for special use in horizontal and vertical applications requiring particularly high impact and moisture resistance. Common applications include doors, partitions, walls and self-supporting components in construction. In accordance with EN 438-4, compact boards are classified as CGS - compact general purpose standard and CGF - compact general purpose flame retardant.
